Our Commitment
Interkey Digital Connect operates in full compliance with the regulations issued by the Saudi Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) governing bulk and application-to-person (A2P) SMS messaging. Our platform, processes, and customer onboarding procedures are designed to enforce these regulations across every message sent through Interkey Connect.
Key Compliance Areas
- Explicit consent: Promotional SMS is sent only to recipients who have provided clear opt-in consent.
- Opt-out mechanisms: Every promotional message includes an unsubscribe option, with delivery stopped within 24 hours of the request.
- Sender ID classification: Sender names are correctly classified as promotional or transactional, in line with CST guidelines.
- Restricted hours: Promotional messages are not delivered during the hours restricted by the regulator.
- Content review: Message content is screened against CST anti-spam rules; SPAM, fraud, and prohibited categories are blocked.
- Direct carrier integration: Traffic is routed through licensed connections to STC, Mobily, and Zain, ensuring traceability and regulatory accountability.
Customer Responsibility
Customers using the Platform are required to comply with CST regulations as outlined in our Terms of Service. This includes obtaining valid consent, using approved sender IDs, and ensuring lawful and appropriate message content.
Official CST Document
The authoritative source for these requirements is the official CST document on limiting intrusive messages (Arabic). The document below is published and maintained by the regulator.
